We believe we are to show God's love by serving people where they are at. Not judging them for how they got there but showing them that God loves them where they are and can change their lives with His love. We do this by being Real People who live Real Lives and serve a Real God. Our mission is to REACH the hurting and the lost by caring, praying, bearing burdens and actively evangelizing; RESTORE them by the washing and building up of God’s Word; and RELEASING them to fulfill their God-given destiny. One of the ways we pursue and live out our mission is through volunteer opportunities.
At Life Center we are actively involved in serving and giving in our community. We work with other ministries such as Love Inc, Twin Cities Mission, Possibilities, Safe Family Ministries, Health and Hope and Lewis County Gospel Mission.
On the second and fourth Saturdays of each month we help hand out food to those in need with our partners at the Hub City Mission.
We also support the local ministry partners financially.
As Jesus left this world, His parting words to His disciples were: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." We encourage you to be willing to serve and make disciples with us.
Volunteers in Real Kids minister to our 1st - 6th graders during weekend worship services through singing, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word with the children. They check in kids, lead classrooms and provide assistance to classroom teachers.
We're always looking for great individuals to love and serve our kids, and help show the love of Christ to them during our gatherings. If you're someone who would like to serve, or just know a little bit more about Real Kids, please connect with us. All who desire to serve in our children's ministry are required to complete a background check.
Our Sunday morning 10:30am gathering is the beginning way to serve for most people at Life Center. We need people who can serve as ushers, greeters, sound, media, and on the worship team.
>2G (Greater than 2 Gatherings) are important to the health and life of the Life Center family. We see the example of faith, food and fellowship by the early church in Acts 2. We are always in need of more people to host, lead and co-lead a group.
