Serving at Life Center.

We believe we are to show God's love by serving people where they are at. Not judging them for how they got there but showing them that God loves them where they are and can change their lives with His love. We do this by being Real People who live Real Lives and serve a Real God. Our mission is to REACH the hurting and the lost by caring, praying, bearing burdens and actively evangelizing; RESTORE them by the washing and building up of God’s Word; and  RELEASING them to fulfill their God-given destiny. One of the ways we pursue and live out our mission is through volunteer opportunities.

Where do we serve

At Life Center we are actively involved in serving and giving in our community. We work with other ministries such as Love Inc, Twin Cities Mission, Possibilities, Safe Family Ministries, Health and Hope and Lewis County Gospel Mission.

On the second and fourth Saturdays of each month we help hand out food to those in need with our partners at the Hub City Mission.

We also support other local ministry partners financially.

Discipleship

As Jesus left this world, His parting words to His disciples were: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." We encourage you to be willing to serve and make disciples with us.

Real Kids

Volunteers in Real Kids minister to our 1st - 6th graders during weekend worship services through singing, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word with the children. They check in kids, lead classrooms and provide assistance to classroom teachers.

We're always looking for great individuals to love and serve our kids, and help show the love of Christ to them during our gatherings. If you're someone who would like to serve, or just know a little bit more about Real Kids, please connect with us. All who desire to serve in our children's ministry are required to complete a background check.

Miracle for Mariah Fund

Our founding Pastors Derrill and Michal's daughter, Mariah, was recently diagnosed with aggressive cancer and has begun treatment.  There are some out of pocket and non-covered treatments that they are pursuing, so a GoFundMe has been set up by friends to help them raise $50,000 to help them cover these expenses.

To assist the family during this difficult time, the elders and pastors of our church have voted to do a matching fund drive.  Life Center will match up to $2500 total of what is given from the congregation.  Our goal is to raise at least $5000.

Please mark your offering for Mariah Miracle so we can match your donation and send it over to help.  If you give via GoFundMe, let us know by emailing michael@yourlifecenter.com, so we can keep a tally and update the church on what we have raised.  Your information will remain anonymous.

Whether you are able to give or not, we ask that you keep Mariah in your prayers as we stand with her and her family during this process.  We serve a God of miracles and are contending together with one for Mariah!

Thanksgiving 2020

Due to health concerns surrounding Covid - 19, the church has decided to not hold our annual Thanksgiving Banquet and instead find new ways to bless you and our community!  Please Email the church office to find out more!

Operation Christmas Child

Every year, our church partners with Samaritans Purse to bless some kids in another part of the world and celebrate Christmas.  Grab a shoebox in our foyer or use a box from home and fill it with toys and other items for an age specific child.  We will then begin collecting boxes November 15 to take to a distribution center.  The boxes will then travel around the globe to a child in need.

If you have any questions or need help safely filling a box, please contact the church office.
